One mans trash is another ones paradise
Well, no one said a house needed to have walls... or floors... or cable... But home was home. Her and Alric got there in one sore heap, laying down on the cold dirt floor happily. The backpack had survived the explosion, everything inside of it was fine. Upon arriving, she immediately saw Alphonse and Ulric, her other two companions. Both dogs looked hungry -- They happily began tearing into the rabbit Alric had caught yesterday, after her un-dug it for them. Two little holes were dug out for the asphalt pieces. placed nicely at the base of a tree. This place was there main home, set a good 4 hours away from the city.
Even better then that, it was on the other side of a huge ass marsh. With all the rabid wild animals around, almost no one came out here. Ever. No one except other shifters and the strays. But, no complaints there. Rosie was left good and alone. With the asphalt set up under the tree and dug in a little chairs, Lynni would look around there little home. There was enough good wood stocked up for a week at the most. With a groan she remembered she would have to go get that blue tarp, and she might as well grab more asphalt too. Asphalt had a lot of uses. Food could be cooked on it with a magnifying glass. It made good chairs and plates too. It was just a matter of lugging it around.
The dogs had gone off to play and she was left alone to pack away the food in the blue cooler that they kept up in a tree. It was nice today, still warmer but quickly fading to fall. She would need to start pulling raid for blankets, or start making a house. Then again, she planned on moving away soon enough... Whatever. A house was something that could be demolished easily. If anything, she needed to build a little den for another year.
Rosie cleaned up really fast and started munching on an apple. Well, time to work. With three dogs around her now, she would start off with her duffel bag and her backpack to go collect some things. Starting with that large tarp. It was located in some random area in the woods, off by where a bunch of trees where. They could get that, look for wild edibles (since 4 apples and a box of crackers wouldnt last) Then, they could go get some more asphalt. What a busy afternoon.
The strange men could wait for now, since she had hiked all the way back here. A stray would alert her if anything odd way going on.
